Last updated: September 26, 2022
HUAWEI AR Measure is an app provided by Huawei Device Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "we", "us", or "our") that allows you to measure real-world objects and human bodies. Huawei takes your personal information and privacy seriously, and is committed to taking appropriate security measures to protect your personal information in accordance with relevant laws and established industry security standards.
1 How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
We will provide you with the features described below through HUAWEI AR Measure. To fulfil our contractual obligations and ensure that you can use such features, we will process information required for providing such features as described below when you use them. If you do not provide the related information, your use of the features in this app will be affected.
Measuring objects and people
To measure the length, area, and volume of an object, as well as people's height, heart rate, and respiratory rate (feature availability may vary by device model), we need to locally process your camera preview stream, accelerometer information, gyroscope information, gravity sensor information, magnetometer information, screen orientation sensor information, system properties, and device model. If you use AR Measure to capture and save screenshots of measurements, we will locally process and store your screenshots.
In addition, HUAWEI AR Measure allows you to share your object measurement data (including length, area, and volume) with third-party apps. The data will not be linked with individuals. Before launching HUAWEI AR Measure from a third-party software, please read the privacy policy of the third party carefully.
